COPA For Kids Aviation Program Each year the Miramichi Airport hosts the COPA For Kids Aviation Program that is sponsored by the local Chapter of the Canadian Owners and Pilots Association (COPA). COPA Flight 39 also hosts a Fly-In in August. One of the highlights for the general public is an opportunity for children and teenagers to experience a flight in a single engine aircraft. Leonel Richard, Publicity Director for COPA 39 states; “Every young person from age 8 to 17 can be participate simply by completing a registration form signed by a parent or guardian. They will fly in a single engine aircraft with a qualified pilot.
